“A Greener Tomorrow Begins Today”

Students of Grade 2 at DPS, GBN celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2025, raising awareness about environmental protection. Children eagerly participated by creating stunning scenery using dry leaves, dry flowers, and other waste materials. Each artwork was paired with a thoughtful slogan that ignited love and care for nature. This hands-on activity inspired students to think creatively while learning the importance of recycling, sustainability, and reducing waste. It also helped them understand how small and meaningful actions can make a big difference in preserving the planet for future generations. The event supported SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), motivating children to take active steps towards a cleaner and greener world.
