Earth Day, observed worldwide on April 22, was celebrated with enthusiasm and creativity by the Grade K2 students at DPS, GBN, under the theme "Sustainability Champions." The day began with a vibrant parade, where the children proudly showcased placards promoting awareness of environmental concerns. This was followed by an energetic dance performance, through which they expressed their admiration and respect for nature. The students then enjoyed a fun-filled scavenger hunt, collecting natural items such as leaves and stones, deepening their connection with the environment. Following this, they crafted beautiful folders from collected waste leaves, turning simple materials into meaningful artwork. Several students amazed everyone with their creative costumes made entirely from recycled materials. Through these hands-on activities, the children learned valuable lessons about reusing, respecting nature, and making sustainable choices to protect the future of our planet. It was a truly enriching and memorable experience for all.
