On July 16, 2024, the enthusiastic young learners of Grade K2 embraced the SDG-13 initiative, which aimed to fight against climate change and safeguard our planet. This initiative was supported by the ‘Green Cycle Glory’ activity, which encouraged recycling to protect the environment.
Children made can planters, CD wind spinners, paper plate earth models, paper roll binoculars, and newspaper hats from recycled materials. They proudly displayed their work and talked about why recycling is important for nature and future generations. The joy and enthusiasm of the children reflected a hopeful future where sustainability is effortlessly ingrained in our daily lives. This initiative not only fostered creativity but also instilled environmental consciousness at a young age. Through such initiatives, we can inspire a generation that values and actively participates in sustainable practices, ensuring a greener, healthier world for all.
