Delhi Public School, GBN celebrated its second Founder’s Day on November 24, 26 & 27, 2016. The three day event witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries. The Chief Guest on November 24, 2016 was Mr. Ramanuj Singh, City Magistrate of Noida. Along with other distinguished dignitaries, Mr. Munesh Kumar, DIOS, Gautam Buddh Nagar also graced the occasion. Delhi Public School, GBN, Noida successfully organised its first ever foreign student exchange program from October 3 to 20, 2016 by playing host to eight students and three teachers from Germany. The student-teacher delegation was from Theodor-Heuss- Gymnasium, Ludwigshafen.

DPS, GBN warmly welcomes the 8 students from Germany for the first ever student exchange programme! The students have come from Theodor-Heuss- Gymnasium, Ludwigshafen school along with three teachers. They will get a chance to learn and explore India and its culture- and DPS, GBN will become a facilitator in their memorable journey.

The students of class II of Delhi Public School, Gautam Buddh Nagar extended the Teachers’ Day celebrations on a grand scale by performing a musical skit on the iconic movie, The Sound of Music by adding their

DPS-GBN conducted an ‘Oral Hygiene Week’, organized by Odon Dental Care, from 22nd – 24th August, 2016. The week commenced with an enlightening workshop for the students and teachers of classes III – V on ‘Dental Care and Hygiene’ conducted by Dr. Seema Bhayana. The workshop was followed by a dental check-up of all the students. The dentists gave a personalized feedback to each student about their dental health.

DPS, GBN celebrated the 70 th Independence Day in a solemn yet spirited manner. The function was presided by the Chief Guest, Flight Lieutenant J.P. Sharma along with Ms. Sudesh Sharma, Parents of
Shahid Captain Shashikant Sharma- the Hero of the Siachen ,who laid his life in the Kargil war. The day began with the hoisting of the Indian Flag followed by the rendition of the patriotic songs by the School Choir.

Mega-Event Inter-DPS NICT Fest 2016 was organized on 30th July,2016 by DPS-GBN with huge participation from 45 DPS branches from all over the country. 2447 students participated in Online DeCryptonite Contest. We congratulate all the winners and participants!!!

Four teachers along with 45 students went to Nainital for an adventurous trip from 26.05.16 to 30.05.16. Everyone stayed in tents and learnt to live in harmony and support. All the students did morning exercises everyday with the instructions given by their mentors.

An orientation programme was conducted for parents on 31st January, 2016.Parents attended this  programme in large numbers.

Mrs. Indira Kohli, Principal, DPS GBN, welcomed the parents warmly and informed them that the school had applied for a CBSE affiliation and would be starting Humanities, Commerce and Medical stream in the school.
