The benefits of a fit and healthy body are known to everyone and the perfect time to adopt healthy living practices is right from an an early age. To imbibe these practices among the kids, DPS, GBN organised “Fitness Week” from November 27- November 30, 2017. The children learned about the importance of being healthy by indulging in different activities like yoga, zumba, races, fitness talk.

Blessed are the young who can give back life with their blood— Donate blood, save a life. A Blood Donation Camp was organised by Interact Club, DPS, GBN in association with Rotary Club of Noida on Saturday, December 11, 2017, in the school premises. Rotary Club had arranged for a blood donation Van to be stationed at the school for collecting the blood from donors. A team of expert doctors and other staff supervised the donation process.

Delhi Public School, GBN, Noida has proudly joined the Energy Saving Campaign which has been initiated by the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UP NEDA). The campaign’s aim is to motivate schools to adopt energy efficient equipments & practices, as well as to inculcate healthy energy usage behaviour which is sustainable.

Class III students performed a play ‘Tarangini- A Saga of Rivers’ in the school’s Tagore Auditorium on August 18 & 19, 2017. The play aimed at spreading the message that water is the most essential element in life and does not create disparity on the basis of gender, religion, caste or creed. The students’ dance performances focused on saving the water bodies as they are depleting at an alarming rate.

Students of Classes XI and XII went on a visit to the President’s House on Saturday, August 19, 2017 accompanied by their teachers. Students got the once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the remarkable abode and learn about its history and inception.
