The skaters of DPS, GBN participated in the CBSE North Zone - I Skating Championship 2017 held at Delhi Public School Meerut, Baghpat Road, Meerut City, from Oct. 24 – 26, 2017.
Arabd Gairola of class I – C exhibited his skills in the sport and won the Bronze medal in inline 1000 meters event (under 10 years boys category). Around 102 schools participated in this meet.
Ranveer Ahluwalia of class X performed exceptionally well in the NGSE Mains and Advanced 2017 and received a Gold medal & Merit certificate for his score. He scored 98.4205 and 76.0163 percentile in the Mains and the Advanced exams respectively. We applaud his remarkable success in this prestigious national level exam and wish him the very best for his undoubtedly bright future.

Forty students from class Prep to XII participated in Melange 2017, organized by Jaipuria School on October 26 & 27, 2017 and showcased their talents in various competitions. The series of interschool competitions not only helped them hone their skills but also helped them understand the importance of putting the ‘TEAM’ before one’s own self. Our school bagged 2nd Prize in the Painting Contest- Bloomsdale –Expression through season. The winners are: Mansi Agarwal (VIII), Shagun (VIII) and Maaz(VIII). Congratulations to the achievers!
Our students participated in Hindi Olympiad organised by Hindi Vikas Sansthan on August 25, 2017.You would be glad to know that two students have been felicitated with the highly prestigious Hindi Pratibha Samman which is a National Level Award for their outstanding performance at national level. Their names are- Jigyasa Sahay (Class XII) and Kumar Shashwat (Class III). 11 students have been conferred with medals and the tally is 2 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
We are extremely proud to share that Ms Ritu Vohra, one of our school's founder faculty members, has been awarded with the prestigious Teacher's Day Award -2017, 'Excellence in Education' for the category:'Outstanding Educator' by 'International Institute of Hotel Management' on Sept 1, 2017.
Ms Ritu is a senior Computer teacher and also heads the Examination Department of the Primary School. She is dedicated towards empowering the students with essential skills needed to succeed in today's technology driven world
The students of Delhi Public School, GBN NOIDA participated in the Inter School Math and IT Competition- ‘Count O Compute’ held at Jaypee Public School, Noida on August 22 & 23, 2017 and they were awarded the overall 2nd Position for their performances in various events held over the two days. The following students from classes Nursery to XI showed their mettle against their peers from more than 20 neighbouring schools:
- Ishita Jain of Nursery Tulip won the 1st prize in the Picture Composition event.
- Devanarya Tiwari of class Prep A won the 3rd prize in the Techno Mania.
- Garvita Chugh (III C) and Arav Kejriwal (III B) won the 3rd prize in Math Fact Family.
- Akash Jha and Harshit Virk of VIII D won the 2nd prize in Reverse Film Making.
- Anshay Goel (IX D) and Amarpal Basra (XI B) won the 1st prize in the Conquesta- Maths & IT Quiz
- Aabhirbhab Naik and Soutik Mohinta of XI B won the 3rd prize in Flowchart Coding.
The genius of our students was recognized by the Principal of the host school who commended the students for answering all questions in Math, correctly. Congratulations to the achievers!
Aman Sharma played "BEACHON JAIPUR CUP (International Rated Tournament)" in Jaipur, from 12th August to 16th August and got the second position in Under 13 category and also increased his 53 International Rating Points. His current international rating is 1527 ELO.

Ms Indira Kohli Honoured with the Great Asia Women Achievers Award 2017.
We are proud to share that Principal Ms Indira Kohli was awarded with the Great Asia Women Achievers Award -2017, organised by the Bhartiya Cultural Social Development Association at the India Islamic Centre, Lodhi Road on August 12, 2017.
Ms Kohli has been conferred this honour in recognition of her significant achievements as an educationist par excellence over the past three decades. Ms Kohli was one among other awardees of repute including Ms Deepa Malik, Para Olympic player.
